you can shock the hood with a tazer and it will disable the alarm.

i dont think you can ever really have a theft proof teg.. just get layers and layers of security.. so that its either not worth the theives time to get through all of them.. or it delays them enough to get caught

get a board with nails in it.. paint it black and put it on your seat before you leave.

but if you really want to "theft proof" your ride, here are a couple of suggestions.

get a 9mm and some zip ties. hook it up under ur dash and point the gun directly at the gas pedal. using fishing lines, hook one end to the trigger and then loop it up and then down all the way to the gas pedal.

when the "theif" or a unlucky victim steps on the gas. "BANG" right on the foot.

as he reaches down in pain and in shock. the spring loaded knife you hidden in the air bag goes into action. and slices the theif right up in the face. so one had is on his foot and the other is on his face. by this time, you had already reached the theif and you just give him one..

Just don't forget about it, or your gonna be having a bad day...

this is true. A guy on team integra had his ITR stolen, and it didn't even have an ECU in it. They used a flatbed, and stole it.

I had my OEM optional lip kit ripped off my car 6 hours after i got it put on.
Many people tried to pry my doors open with screw drivers, and my car was actually a stolen recovery before it was mine. Integras are the #1 most stolen car in America, if somebody wants it (or what's in it), they'll take it.

If you want to protect your car, layer your security. Get an alarm, back up battery for the alarm, relocate your hood cable, or get lockable hood pins, removeable steering wheels look great and prevent thiefs (but you lose your air bag). Get a kill switch for the ECU, fuel pump, ignition (the more the merrier). Layer it up.

Some guy wants it bad enough he can use a wrecker and take it though.

Good thing mine is just a summer weekend cruiser garage kept vehicle

i think the safest way beside all your alarms and clubs and what not is to just watch where you park. I've got 2 way alarm with ignition kill and tilt sensor and a club but I'm still paranoid about where to park.

Layer your security. Also, the hood popping through the fender that you mentioned is absolutely true.

Would-be thieves tried to get my car that way, set my alarm off, and I proceeded to beat the hell out of one of them as his buddy ran away. The first cop on scene was my neighbor, he didn't mind that I beat the crap out of some little twerp with my 4 cell mag-light. They caught both suspects.

Back on topic... you can reroute the cable to run under the hood so that it is not accessible from the fender any more.

you have have a built motor with some large injectors say 750cc and just take your ecu you with you.
the only way they will be able to start it is if they knew your setup and brought an ecu with a basemap.
this should make it preatty much un stealable besides towing

They is a system out there that guaranteed your car to not be stolen. It is a jack and plug system tied in with some of your major systems.

I am going to try and built my own version this summer since I have nothing better to do and this way it will be cheaper. Plus I can get my hand on the good stuff. Titanium CNC machine kevlar wire coating wahaha

If you dont want you car to get stolen here is what you do...
Get gun turrets, attack dogs, 24hr armed security (who will probably be the ones who steal your car any damn way) and an underground garage. If you are like me and can not afford all these luxuries.
You get an alarm, switches, remove the ECU, and if you hear your alarm go off, grab the shot gun and pump some #4 buckshot in that ***.

The system you are talking about looks like it can be defeated by simply popping out the cap with a flat head, and splicing the two wires that is connected to the cap. so instead of using the plug to start the car, u just pop out the thing, cut it, and connect the two wires together? im pretty sure there are two wires connected to that plug...

#4? #4 isn't buck shot; it's for large birds and other critters. The pellets aren't even as large as BBs, I believe. #00 is buck shot. I keep that in my shotgun under my bed. Another good choice is rifled slugs: they're sure to put a BIG hole in a thief.
