Hondata s300
Is there any one that has run the s300 or seen the s300? Is it worth it or not. I have a sony vaio that I can hook up into the glove box. but I don't want to go through all of the effort if it's not worth it. Oh yeah, it's going in a 1990 ls with a 1999 vtec head. I'm running an P72 OBD-I ECU .
it is supposed to have a really good program to tune with. Changes occur when you turn the ignition off and then back on. I have heard great things about it. I am looking to change out my s200 so I don't have to have te blue box anymore. The usb cable plugs directly into the ecu. So you would leave the cable strung up through the glove box in your case. It comes with all features enabled so the price is a steal.
All shops I talk to that tune hondata say it is great as well. I want it bad, but don't wanna pony up $600 since I already have the s200.

well it is easier to read all the spec at http://www.hondata.com/
s200 you either need a romulator or chip burner to change the program just like most chipped ecu's.
That is where the s300 shines and you just need to upload the changes and play with the ignition.

you dont have to turn the ignition off. just tune when the engine is running. changes happen immediately. i just press the upload button when im finish tunning.
