I bought my d15b vtec from soko but I went down there and picked it out myself but it's a pretty nice facility. Not the most knowledgeable but I got a LSD tranny for 100 since they didn't even know it was LSD! lol. My d15b ran great. Shipping isn't free but still cheaper then the just longblock itself from HMO. I think they ran 325 for the longblock from soko and like 75 for shipping for me if I want it shipped to Northern WI. When I went there they had easily 30 d15b vtec's I kid you not!!!
haha nice, but what the hell, thats the second person ive heard of that hand picked a lsd tranny. wtf? ????? ? ? ? i thought the only lsd's for d series was quaife and kaaz? which are expensive as expletive. what the hell kind of tranny do you have? id kill for an lsd in d series.
also, where is soko located?

Nope I believe there was a factory LSD tranny that was available for the EF's that came with the DOHC ZC engine and then one that usually came with d15b vtec's. There's also factory LSD auto trannies too but the diff. is swappable to a manual tranny. There places like SOKO that are just engine/tranny/front clip importers and then there's places like HMO that are importer and performance shops that know what they have when they get it. SOKO just sends you what they have and don't really know what they have with something like this. Overall it's a clean facility and well kept but their just an importer so asking specs or info they don't really know the whats what about what they have. Also they have ECU's, dist, alternators, or anything else with there engines. Just the longblocks and nothing else. You get everything from :intake manifold(throttle body, injectors, fuel rail, whats ever sensor come on it but it's not their problem if there broken), cyclinder head, exhaust manifold, block and thats it. No accessories like a ac pump, ps pump, alternator, dist. or even spark plug wire, maf, air meter if it came with one... you get the idea though. But then again thats what it's so much cheaper then HMO but you still get a warranty with the engine for like 30 days I believe. When I went there they had a DA front clip but I forgot for how much but that was the only clip.

I'm saying there was a cable sohc LSD tranny that had a midshaft like the DOHC trannies for the EF model that came with some DOHC ZC's. Then there is the hydro LSD sohc D-series tranny for the D15b vtec that was available in the EG model that came in both auto and manual. Haven't ever heard of a LSD tranny that was available in the EK chassic that would of came with the sohc dual solenoid vtec d-series but there could aswell be.
