RS-R makes really high quality stuff. Hence the price.

does anyone know how loud it would be to have 2.25 inch mandrel bent piping running from an aftermarket header, to a glasspack inplace of the cat, then straight back to a universal magnaflow ? im trying to go semi-inexpensive for now and i dont want it to be loud as hell

Unfortunately, I know exactly how that sounds. I am running a 4-2-1 header, resonated test pipe, resonated B-pipe, 2 inch piping, a Magnaflow straight thru oval, and a Monza resonated tip. This exhaust is straight thru and helped my top end power, and isn't raspy at all, and has a great tone, especially at idle.

But, it is still too loud for me at anything over 3K rpms. Everyone else likes the sound, but it is just too loud for me. I am considering swapping the Monza tip for a twin loop. This should maintain performance, but bring the sound level down a notch, at least I hope it does.

yes would like to know as well..

I have an exhaust setup sitting in my room right now, but im afriad its gonna sound too loud. Its a full 2.5inch setup with carsound cat, 18 inch long Magnaflow resonator, and ES Technical Roadsports muffler (its straight through just like the magnaflows). I plan on using 2.5 inch crush bent piping. And have a DC 4-2-1 header (2 inch collector).

Or should I use 2.25 inch piping and expand the ends to match the parts?
