Default H22A Swap Issues...crap.

I am swapping an H22A into my 94 Accord, got all the mounts and **** bolted up, except 1. The passenger side motor mount is off of an Auto Tranny, and I am putting in the Prelude LSD 5-Speed, different mount, or what?

That, and would I need to make any modifications to stuff to run the manual transmission cables? Like where is the hole to run the cables through or would I need to drill/cut a hole or two.

More posts of complication are sure to come.

If so, can anyone supply me with a link to a store with one, or can anyone sell me one?

your post is a bit hard to understand... so your doing an h22 swap and manual conversion at the same time?

if your are then you need a 5spd h22 tranny mount and you have to modify the mount bracket thats welded on the frame by either drilling a new mounting hole up higher (there is a little tack weld where the 5spd mounting hole is supposed to be) or cut off the auto tranny mount bracket and welding on a 5spd one.

shift linkage run through the same hole the automatic linkages ran through but it goes up the back of the block and under the intake manifold.

now if your car is already a 5spd then i dont know why you posted...

Nah, it's an automatic converting to a 5-speed. Sorry about the confusion of my post, I was buzzing on NyQuil because I've been sick lately.

But I looked at the mounts the other day and kinda did the WTF look.

But yea, thanks for the help.

auto tranny uses auto mount. 5sp tranny uses 5sp mount.. i dont know how else to explain it. as for cables, they go the same way as if on a 5sp f block. you need to have it in front of you or look at another car. i made mine go through the rear mount bracket and over the cat convertor. it's hard to explain. this has been covered countless times, search for the mounts question.
