Default Del Sol: I want a Comptech Ice Box!!!

For my own personal preference, I wanted the comptech ice box. I went to their site, dont sell stuff for del sol. Since i have the b16a3 motor, i thought i can use the 99 00 civic si ice box, 9900 si have the b16a2. So i called comptech, but they said they had only done that to one del sol and had to "modify". hahahah, "modify" makes me laugh. anyways, anyone know of a similar product to the ice box. I tried keeping my stock intake, and put an aftermarket air filter cone inside, but nothing fits (god that sounded sexual). Any help?

Hmmm. I was thinking. To save a little bit of cash you could pull the resonator box out of the fender ( the thing the stock box attaches to at the bottom) Then you could get a K&N filter for your stock intake box. Taking the resonator off will allow you to draw air in from the fender well without the fear of getting it wet when it rains and whatnot. Just a thought.

OEM is what you need to fit that box. I think you could use that K&N and your box to make your intake. Just take out the resonator so you will pull cold air in from the fender well.
