Default H22 swap 1997 delsol questions

hey guys, Im buying a H22 with LSD (of course)
and the first thing i notice is the shift linkage assembly is under the car.
any detailed pictures of what people did about that?

also. this is my first project other than suspention
im getting the vibe its 1 hell of a projec tot take on

from the looks of it i think i can handle lifting out the old engine and dropping in the new one... just concerned about the shift linkage
any and all pointers would be good. couldnt find much detail on the shift linkage located under the car for a h22.

figure ill give myself 2-3 weeks to do the project
even a dumb *** can do a project given enough time right?

anyway back to the car.. current engine is dead (yeah a 1997 with a dead engine at 183000km) i think the previous owner drove it like **** or something......
so it needs to be done....
i can either pay someone to rebuild the stock sohc.... (2000$) or attempt the swap for 4500$
paying 6000$ total to get it installed is out of my price range, so i dont want to order an engine then find out im stuck with a broken car and a engine and no funds to do it.......

i think that sums up my concerns... if anyone whom did a H22 delsol ran into any problems be nice to hear about them in advance.

im aware of the trimming to the tranny mount... anything else would be good
thank you

yes you have to cut those holes in your car. I am pretty sure that you will have to do that with your car since your car is a honda civic del sol.
