swap not running properly, need advice please
Okay im almost done swapping a jdm b16a sir II into my 97dx. I have two problems that have just about baffled me, im looking for some advice. The ECU is throwing three codes, 14, 22, and 36. It is a p30 and I had it chipped because it was set up for an automatic, I have a manual. Code 14 is the IACV and 22 is the vtec pressure switch.
Here's what the car is doing besides throwing codes:
In Neutral when I press the accelerator it will rev smoothly to 1500 rpm then start to sputter, it will go and fall back, go and fall back, as I continue to press the gas until it finally jumps to 5000+ rpms. This problem gets worse as the car begins to heat up. I tried replacing the iacv, i got a working one though I was only able to place 1 of the 2 bolts through (different IACV was sent to me) I torqued it down tight as well as sealed it with some silicone sealant (rated to 400 degrees).
As far as the vtec is concerned I used the old harness for the swap which did not have vtec, i have checked the connections swapped in a new pressure switch, swapped in a new computer, and I still get the code 22. I can only think that either I wired it into the wrong wire on the jumper harness or both my computer and pressure switch are bad ( i wasn't able to try the known/good ones at the same time)
I'm in so cal so if you want to make some money and get my car running i can pay a bit...

Re: swap not running properly, need advice please (Terrible One)
My dx did not have vtec so I ran a 16gauge wire (i think if not then pretty close to 16) to the jumper harness and currently have it attached by wire nut. Not sure what pin it is as im at work but I will check later. I originally had the same problem with the vtec solenoid however I got that working when i grounded it to the trans.
