tire wear question
welll i got a new set of yoko es100 like about a year ago and got them aligned....well its been about 6000 7000 miles and i rotated the tires the other day and the inside of the front tires are gone...there bald....this has happened b4 but not this soon....are type R's designed in a way where the front tires r cambered more then normal, or am i just tripping out?

This is NOT normal. The tires should be wearing evenly. I suggest that you get an alignment AND get the entire front suspension looked at.
The ES100 was wearing evenly on our GS-R until recently. We found that the bushings on the right lower control arm were shot, and this was allowing the tires to wiggle slightly back and forth while driving. The left front tire was exactly as you're describing.

just becasue u get your alignment corrected once in a year doesnt mean it cant be thrown out again, its suggested every 6 months and z rated tires rotate them every 3k for longer life do you have type of aftermarket sus.?

True. And one of the symptoms that tells you that you may need an alignment is uneven tire wear. (Another is if the car pulls to one side or the other.) So it's a good idea to get an alignment whenever these symptoms occur.

No, it isn't.

The purpose of rotating tires (front to rear) is to even out the tread wear. (On our cars, the front tires normally wear faster.) For those who are using tires that only last 10K miles (e.g. Falken Azenis), rotating them every 3K miles might make sense. It's not necessary to rotate the ES100 that often, since they last 25-40K miles. Rotate them every 7-10K miles and you'll be fine. (Or, if you periodically swap tires anyway - such as with track tires or with winter tires - just always put the tires with more tread on the front, and that should be sufficient for rotation.)
