So your turbo'ing an HF motor ?

That will get you like 110whp.

You could of gotten a B series swap for that price and got WAY more power.

Well you should sell the trubo kit and get a swap.

Becuz if its a complete greddy kit, you can get like $2000 for it. And a 1st gen b16 swaped cost around there. With like 40more HP.

And in an HF will be fasst.

if you use a pm6 to get more fuel into your HF for turbo your gonna have to get some Si injectors because your Hf ones are only like 180cc i think, or get '92-95 injectors and get right of your resistor box, if you do all this you should really get an Si or D15b7 intake manifold and tb because your Hf one is not gonna flow enough air. if i was you i'd pick up a D15b2 or d15b7 or even a d16a6 because you can get either of them for under $150 any day of the week, run those off your pm6 then turbo it, you'll be happy i think

Turboing the HF seems like a waste..8 valve head, very long geared tranny, tiny intake manifold,if you have 88-89 it has 180cc injectors,etc..I dont know what to tell you..Maybe put on a 16 valve head with A6 intake manifold or greater..Get some pistons made for the 16valve head,,and get a pm6 ecu then chip with turboedit and tune it,,or get a 12:1 fmu and High flow inline fuel pump and 6psi or less of boost..And then the tranny is still an issue..

yeah plus if this hf is your DD don't throw a turbo on it. If you want a little more power to get up to speed most people don't just throw a turbo on it. I know that Bent Cat at the e.manifold has to go....and you will have to put at least 2" exhaust to get the right b.pressure so you head doesn't float and all this other stuff. You might want to hang on to the turbo idea and just enjoy 55mpg.

swap a d16a1 or d16y8 in there and then put the turbo on that.. also don't use the hf tranny either it will tach 1800 rpm @ 60mph = not too much fun

man just dont listen to clowns. boost it for the fun of it. youll not only learn more but you can also be saving up for another d series in the meantime. once the HF gives up swap in the other motor and boost. Find a good newer nonvtec motor. throw it in there .

yeah thats what all my other friends said... since its my dd and all but the last comment, in regards to having fun with it, is partially true, although the motor does suck other than the gas mileage it provides. well if anyone is interested in buying my turbo kit let me know! the number is 214-244-4845 and the name is george. thanks guys for all your input.

If you can't get up to highway speed safely then turboing the motor is not the solution. There is clearly something else wrong here. Clogged cat, or something else maybe? I'd get things checked out.
