Default Engine help! (bore size)

I'm just wondering what size piston do you guys think I should get and why? I'm looking to bore my engine out to at least 2.0L and I just need some info before I order my stuff. I have my money in hand and a supplier picked out. Going with Endyn Pistons, rods and a high output oil pump. Also, will I need a new head or will a port and polish do the job? Just remember, I am looking for the max amount of airflow I can get. Thanks!

To bore a GSR block you will have to get the block resleeved. You'll be going from 81mm to 84mm in order to have 2.0 liters.

Yes, like ARunto said, you can't just bore the block to 2L, you'll need to resleeve them and then bore it. Here's some numbers for you:

84mm bore = 1.93L
84.5mm bore = 1.95L

Both of these are the mostly popular bores when resleeving for B18C's, tho neither of them is actually 2.0L. You can go to 86mm bore, but then if something happens, you'll need to resleeve again cuz you'll have nomore room to bore (the sleeves will be too thin). I'd opt for JE pistons personally...they're lighter than the Endyn/wiseco pistons and contain a lower silicon content (less warm up and expansion). HTH.

Thanks for the tip! Bore, resleeve... whats the difference?? HA! Just shittin. I was planning on resleeving but bore just came to mind... 84.5 sounds fine, I'll try for that. Thanks guys!! I'm goina look into JE pistons a bit more cause I was set on Endyn. If they are like you say than I'll go for them! (not that I dont trust you, just wanna know my stuff before I do anything major).
