Default Vtec solenoid leak? Or somthing else?

I have a type R block that has a fairly good size leak. As of right now i cleaned it all up and noticed that oil is being shot around a bit when im driving. It does not seem to be a Head Gasket Leak because i was told there would be coolant coming out as well as oil and it would be foamy and that is not happening. So im guessing its the Vtec solenoid because the top of the solenoid has some oil dripping down where the 3 bolts hold on the top cap portion.

And if so would it be possible for the oil to leak down and collect in this spot?

thanks guys

The cam seal is known to leak oil, try replacing it.

Cam seal is common, but also if the screen behind the vtec solenoid fails or isn't seated quite right it can do that. Exact same thing happened to me after having my solenoid off. It just wasn't seated quite right and left a noice pool of oile right where yours is.

Is there a gasket or o-ring for the top part of the solenoid? I know there is an o-ring where the entire soenoid bolts on to the head and i will replace that oring.

Cam seal fixed my problem. Those things are cheap plastic. I bought one cheap on ebay from KMS engineering

If that doesn't fix it then I would guess solenoid screen or dizzy o-ring.
