My friend just got a jdm b16 for his eg and he think its going to be the fastest thing since jets. I have never drove one and was just wondering how they run.Its all stock motor.About what kind of quarter mile times do this run stock. Fill me in on the topic. I know you guys know.

 

its slow as *****. will run a mid 15. wich is station wagon territory...

 

yeah stock it will run low 15s but with minor bolt ons like intake, header, and exhaust you could easily run low 14s and maybe even high 13s. the only stock motor that i know that will haul *** in the 1/4 mile is k20. good luck

haha it will not run a 13 with i/h/e.

 

b16 are hella slow
very low torque
one you hit vtec is a little better.
is like driving a SOHC

hey my b16 isnt that slow(jdm b16a-t) . well i guess when it think about it it isnt stock either. to the op. tell you friend to look at this thread before he goes out trying to race everyone in his superfast car.

 

damn if i could hit 13s with i/h/e then why did i waste my time building the motor

he is asking about a b16 not a h22...

 

didn't you guys know about the super rare header for the b16...i got a d-series one and now with i/h/e i run mid 14's on my stock y7. as i was saying super rare so don't expect to find one anytime soon
