Default Another Cager hits rider vid

This may be a re-post:

http://www.ebaumsworld.com/vid....html

But what I wonder is, could it have been avoided.

1) That F'n Honda got in the way
2) Despite that, should he have accelerated when he saw the manner in which the car in the fast lane swerved.
3) Since it seemed like he hit some ice (the car in the fast lane), should he have definetely assumed the driver had lost control, and accelerated through the lane asap?

It's a tough one..

I predict another similar post in a few days.

In rare instances, there is nothing you can do. **** happens. It's a good thing the car wasn't tall or the speeds weren't higher.

lol..I couldn't see your vid, but I feared it was the same one. My bad.

I still think that like someone said, in review, it looks avoidable, but damn, she would have had to react right away, and downshift (assuming she wasn't in a gear low enough to provide the acceleration necessary) to squeeze to the left of the accord prior to the #1 lane car swerving completely accross the lane).

I don't think she could have cut left.

Oh well, sorry about the repost. ride safe guys.
