CF Trunk Weight vs OEM Trunk Weight
last time i was a c-west i seem to remember getting info that the stock trunk is 15lbs and their trunk is 3.75lbs. i don't have the info off hand for other companies like amuse, asm, varis, or j's racing

It all adds up in the end. If you have the cash to burn, its completely worth it imo.

that cash would serve you much better elsewhere... 10 punds at the rear of the car is nothing.

All adds up in the end, if you dont have the money then dont do it, because youll go broke. If you do and you need every less ib, then do it.
Otherwise get some bolt on or something.

CF Trunk, hood, top, FRP fenders, no softtop, no A/C, no passenger seat, no carpet, no stereo, no airbags, seamwelds. Is that enough?
Best $2k I've ever spent.

In a race car maybe....that wouldnt be a smart thing to do with a street car.
All that CF stuff on a steet car is more for looks then anything else.

If you're talking about layed carbon fiber vinyls or dry carbon, two completely different things.
