just wanted to ask...

how can you tell if in fact that you really do have them in STD B
i was told that there should be a stamp on the middle of the piston. but when i have inquired from other people online they say that there is no stamp on the middle of the piston.

steve say's that he does carry the STD B in stock but i just wanted to some assurance. i will be going out and checking them out personally. so i will have a chance to inspect them before purchase and wanted to know exactly what to look out for.

edit: just found that last link. so im assuming that the piston should in fact have the B stamped on it.

 

There is only one STD S type piston and it's the A. The B piston is non STD and thus it has a B on it. There is no A marking on the A piston because it is the standard size.

 

i guess ill just make the trip out there and have a look see for myself.

 

If your bore are all B's you can use either the A or B pistons. The bore will have to be honed slightly to accept the A pistons.

 

picked up the pistons today...

they are infact genuine honda...and hmotor does still carry more. i remember reading on a thread that someone had doubted that the B's that hmotor carries were fake.

i got mine from them...i specified in my order that i wanted A pistons and i got all A pistons.
