Default Tuning AEM CAM

I have a mildly modified d16z6 (intake, header, straight pipe exhaust from header, Underdrive pulley, alternator pulley, vtec controller, AEM fuel rail and pressure regulator, rc310cc injectors, and AEM cam)

I was wondering how to tune it? and get the most HP and torque out of it, I want most of my power to hit at 4000 rpms because thats where I set my vtec at. does anyone know how many degrees i need to advance it or retarted it to make most of my power 4000rpms and up?

it dependes on certian things, someone may give you an estmate but you need a dyno to really tell...

you sure it's an AEM cam? I don't think they ever made a cam. . .

Something like this is impossible to answer on the internet.

you got an adjustable cam gear? you might get a couple hp out of that but on a single cam it more if you had a camshaft installed and bigger things than just "bolt-ons". take your distributor and turn it toward the rear of the car. this is advancing your timing which you will probably notice more than screwing with that cam gear. happy "tuning"
