Default 15x7.5 Rota Slipstreams

I figured I would post this here since we need to help out Craig as much as possible, he's currently buying wheels just to get the deal done

Details: special order 15x7.5" Rota Slipstreams in Flat Black color. et40, CB=56.1mm, 4x100 bolt pattern. Will take around 10 weeks to get them. The deal is through 18racing.com. There is also a deal going on with 16x8's if anyone is interested.

price is $480 shipped for the 15's and $550 for the 16's.

The 15x7.5 are being used for SCCA's STS class and are limited to 7.5" by the rules.

It's too bad we're limited to 7" in H4, otherwise I'd be all over a set or 2.

Ordered a set. This is a smokin deal considering the only other wheels that I know of in the 15x7.5 size are the Wed Sports, SSR and Volk TE37 and these are all $300 a wheel or more if you can even get them. The Wed Sport is listed as not available on Tire Racks website and the SSR Comps have been discontinued in this size. I just ordered a set of the Volks but they were almost $1400 for the set. I could get almost 3 sets of Rotas for that price.

Anyone know if 16x8 w/40mm offset would rub on a DC2?

Looks like a bunch of 5x114.3 guys are interested as well, I would be too if they could get that set up.

We've contacted them about doing a 5 lug group buy. When I hear back from them, I'll let you know. I already have a few people interested in a 15x7.5 or 15x8 5 lug Slipstream.

I will hop on this deal. Thanks for posting it.

After reading the rulebook it looks like I am in SM because of my swap but I would like to prep to be in sts in the future.

I emailed Jessica at 18racing but can't seem to log into scca forums to have the guys ad me to the list for 15x7.5 +40.

just as long as Jessica has your order then you will be fine. I'm going to call her this morning and officially give her my credit card number for the $100 deposit.

I think they are planning to send the order into Rota today.

If you're interested in buying a set of 15x7.5 Slipstreams in 5x114.3, please IM or e-mail me. I'm working with them now, and I'd like to have an idea of how many people would be interested. I'm also talking to them about a 15x8, but that will probably not happen unless there is a lot of interest.

Hopefully Rota will see that there is an interest in these sizes and will produce them on a regular basis.

I have a set of 16x8 +43 or +42 and it clears the front knuckle and also the rear trailing arm. perfect fit! Gotta use an aftermarket rear upper control arm or you'll have to grind the stock sheetmetal one...maybe thats why the JDM ITR one is not the sheet metal one...hrmmmmmmm

5x114 16x7.5 or 16x8 would be good. Not much you can really do with a 15x8 on the street given the lack of tires that fit the wheel properly.

by the way, Hankook is going to be releasing a 225/45/15 Z212 at right about the same time we will be receiving our wheels

instrument: I know of some people running the SSR Comp 15x7.5's et43 on the front of their EG's. I don't know if they will fit out back though. Maybe try searching for any info on any 7.5 inch wide wheel (i bet you will find some stuff about 17's but the diameter of the wheel really shouldn't matter)
