I feel that Honda put in a lot of consideration designing the R, but the guy that made the USDM foglight switch should be slapped. So I bought the JDM Bling switch and figured it would be plug and play, and was wrong. Here is the way I hooked it up.
The Switch

The plug. Off of an accord alarm harness, shaved to fit. Any 5 pin will work as long as it all lines up.

On the USDM Harness there are only 3 wires, On the JDM switch there are 5. The USDM Harness will have a (black), (red w/yellow stripe), and (red w/white stripe). In the pic I labeled the accord plug 1-5, hook up the wires and thats it.

It should turn out like this.
Lights on, fogs off

Yes the pins are the same as what you see. Only difference is that you wont have to trim the plug. It fits as-is into the JDM switch.

Yes. When you buy a foglight kit, it will come with the foglights, the wiring that runs from the fogs to the wiring harness on the DS frame rail, and the wiring harness that hooks up under the dash. And also the american switch that fits by the e-brake.
This thread shows you how to use a JDM switch with the USDM wiring harness.

thanks walker

I got the harness with my foglights, and ordered the switch from Passwordjdm.com
so I can buy the USDM fog lights and hook them up to them JDM fog light switch? and later if I want the JDM front end I can hook that up to my JDM fog light switch? =]
