Because its a completely different pattern.
Take a LS IM gasket and lay it over a B16 gasket...not even close

you heard wrong.

An ITR IM will fit the B16, A B18A/B will neither fit the B16

 

Ls can fit b16, YES ls intake manifold can on b16

 

No it will NOT bolt on.
