need help about my flywheel??

well today my clutch just went out, well i wanted to know if I can tell if I need a new flywheel without taking the tranny off??

can't tell without looking at it.
i doubt u need a new one. i would definitely have it resurfaced before puting a new clutch in.

flywheel inspection cover its a black plate between the tranny and engine under the car...just wondering how is your pedal freeplay..it might be a hydro issue
