Default my prelude now has forced induction...

but i have yet to tune it. hopefully i'll have time this weekend? but the point is, we finished the install today. gave it a ride around the block (don't worry, me and the techs kept our eyes on the gauges, so at the first sign of trouble, we could nip it in the ***, but no trouble popped up).

still a few minor tweaks are in the works before it's going to be 100% complete but it's driveable at the moment, if need be. no fluids leaking, nothing melting, no odd noises (that aren't supposed to be there). hopefully this good luck continues.

i didn't take it past 4k, but even there, what little boost was coming through felt great.

i gues i'll keep you all posted

Not too bad. Which injectors? Reason asking is you can run the VAFC hack on 450cc blue top's and it will run fairly well. If you need an "intermediate" step between your VAFC and the EMS, then this may be something to consider. It will also let you get rid of that god-aweful FMU.

Although, the Hondata is an excellent piece of machinery.....

It's not the injectors, it's the FMU and/or timing that will give you hell. You'll be fine, just take it easy on the motor. I have never trusted the FMU's....

Have you considered uberdata man? Because You could sell that vafc and pretty much have enough money to go that route and have a real engine management that is a dead equivilent to the s200. Thats what I ran when I first boosted my 5th gen and it was wonderful, I couldnt recommend it more. I boosted 10psi on an sc44 for about a year, ripped the block apart and the motor and ringlands looked brand new, because what are you going to be doing about timing issues?
