Default Removal of oil sump / baffled plates - how?

Hey friends,

I found my oil sump gasket leaking alittle, was thinking of getting it baffled while it is out for a new gasket. Do you guys know of any reputable shops / online shops which retails ready-made baffle plates which I can easily DIY and weld onto the sump myself? I wud prefer a design which is similar to Mugen's.

Btw, for those who have experience in removing the oil sump, do I need to remove the extractors (ITR's JDM 4-1) beforehand? can the oil sump be removed without dismantling the extractors?

MrHeeltoe sells the oil pan baffles. I believe the Mugen pan baffles are rolled and includes vertical walls as well.

To remove the oil pan you must remove the header (extractors).

He speaks the truth.

I just replaced my oil pan on monday, half the time was spent just wrestling the header out.

Looks like I gotta get ready the gaskets for the headers too.

Is there a need for another gasket between the header and the cat?

There is a gasket.... it's circular in shape....

commonly referred to the "donut gasket"

It is reusable.
