Default B18C1 vs B16a cam caps

are they interchangable? im getting a decent deal on a gsr longblock minus cams and cam caps..i know cams are interchangeable are the caps also? it would be a lot easier finding b16 cam caps over gsr ones

The cap are machined with each head assembled and torqued together. You can get another set of caps, but have them line honed at a machine shop with the right equipment.

It's alot of work. the caps have to be close enough to machine them down and then have them honed. Im having it done right now. it worth buying a complete head and changing it out. Unless you have alot of money in head work or more. I have a type R head, thats the only reason I'm willing to spend the money.
