what are those aftermarket speaker to speaker wire adapter thingys called??
these were on my first civic but dont have them anymore...and i wanna kno where to get some...its not a harness, but its used to connect your aftermarket speakers to your speaker wires without wrapping the threads of the speaker wire around the aftermarket speaker +/- inputs...but one end of the adapter thing pinches the speaker wires while the other end just plugs right into the speakers...anyone kno what im talkin bout??

maybe a speaker harness? If you would give more details or a clearer picture someone could answer your question right away

</TD></TR></TABLE> It's called a "female quick release" or "female disconnect" and it looks like this.... http://www.scosche.com/scosche...0-100
also comes "fully insulated" like this... http://www.scosche.com/scosche...0-100
For most speakers you need a 0.250 for the pos. (+) term. and a 0.110 for the neg. (-).

Look, just go to Circuit City and ask for a speaker adapter harness for your particular car. I don't know if that's what you're talking about exactly, but that is what you want. It will plug into the speaker plugs and have quick disconnect outputs for your aftermarket speakers.

or most of the spade connector thingys mostly just one size in female and male?? because im bout ta just order a pack of em from ebay but none say the sizes of them so im guessing that all kinds of females and males are the same size right??
just go to home depot. they sell it all. and most times aftermarket speakers have 2 different sized terminals.
