I know you're joking! That is probably one of the most fun tracks to take your street car on when it's raining. Some time ago I instructed at a school at this track and I drove up there in my street car (awd talon). I must have done something really good that week because by mid day the skies opened up and dumped a bunch of rain on us. It was wonderful! Even better, most everyone was coming back in the pits. This was just perfect and I ran to my car. It was by far the best time I ever had driving the talon. And it just loves to get sideways on turn in, and finally with the reduced grip it can stay that way on the power, too. Just beautiful.. I'll never forget that magical day. Believe me if rain could somehow be guaranteed, I'd find a way to make it out to every single track day at TGPR! Access to a wet, wide-open track with little to hit is tremendously beneficial and/or a ton of fun for anyone driving anything (with a roof
). It's also a LOT easier on tires. TGPR + rain = pure gold, especially for any EVO or DSM owner.

Yeah I never was able to drive a street car on the track. I did a lot of testing with a team who was out of guntersville* I think that's how it's spelt, well that was there home track. I'd like to see the difference in grip levels coming from a formula mono-shock to a street car in the rain there.
