Last year on my stock bore 1.8L I ran a ported Aebs manifold with good results..... I know have a 85mm set-up and bought a Victor X manifold but looking at the two the ports look really small...... do I have to port this like 2-3mm? or did I get the wrong manifold? **** looks like it should be for a D16 LOL!
Also what size T.B do you guys recomend? is 70mm tops?

whats it look like in comparison to the intake ports on the head? have a spare oem intake gasket? what about layin the gasket on the intake manifold and seein the difference? just a thought.

 

damn, the vic x manifold ports look like the same as a shitty obx manifold

i would definitly port it out, or jump on the dyno with both to se the difference in power between them, maybe the vic x manfiold is designed like that for some strange reason

I did that with the Hondata gasket that I have but I ported that to the Aebs manifold so there's a big diffrence...... I just don't know if I can take that much off the Vic ports. Rob
