Thanks alot for the help guys I just did the dashlights today lol after like 8months finally got some time 9:30 in the night, took tmy time and did it right.

I actually got slightly used bulbs out of a used dash cluster on a 01 civic. My stock a/c bulbs actually have blue caps on them, but emit a clean white light. I carefully slid them off (one tore a little was melted to bulb) and slid them on the new bulbs.

I accidentaly tried to disconnect the heat control cable from the switch assemble, nono i was supposed to take it off fromthe other end of the cable which goes to the heater core box. I had to re-read that hoew-tothread in the link above.

All said and done, thank god I don't have to turn on my interior light every time i need to change the temperature, I can see what im' doing now.

Ohh yeah this is one of those jobs you just gotta take your time and do it, definatly a bitch and takes some patience.

On the note, when re-installing the heat control cable check the movement of your hot-cold switch. If movement is limited try disconnting cable and moving switch all the way to cold, then hook and clip on the cable and should be good to-go!

My 4-way flasher bulb is out, that I have to order from honda. It's like the tiniest bulb in the world if you ever saw it. Keeping up all these details in your car really makes it feel like a new car.

Gauge Lighting:

EX Cluster:
5x #24
1x #194
2x #74 (optional) for downward illumination)

Lighting for Climate Control:
2x #74

Buy glass bulbs, not LEDs, they just look more natural, and spread correctly.

get them @ http://www.autolumination.com

Also, don't disassemble the climate control. Just take off the lower 12v socket pannel, and reach up there and pull the socket out. It hurts your hand, and it's hard, but nowhere near as time consuming as taking out the climate control.

Neo-Wedge twist outs. They work for cruise control, OEM foglight buttons (not esuse or depo), hazards, and defog.

Best bet is to get them from honda because the 10mm neo-wedges they have on autolumination are too big. They come in four different colors from honda:

Amber (white condom) - on/off indication for defrost + jdm foglight on/off indication
BULB - 35850-SV4-981

99-00 Climate Control Neo-Wedges:
BULB, NEO-WEDGE - 79609-S02-A01 (blue condom)
BULB, NEO-WEDGE - 79609-S02-A11 (amber condom)

Greenish-White (blue condom) - defrost illumination for 96-98 civic cx/dx/lx/ex
BULB (BLUE) - 35850-S04-003

Green (green condom) - oem foglight on/off indication + cruise control
BULB (G) - 35852-ST3-G01

Clear (no condom) - hazard illumination
BULB, NEO-WEDGE (CLEAR)(TEC) - 35851-SM4-003 <-- it's that one!
