Default Tourist Trophy for PS2

I just picked up a copy of this game the other day. I'm not sure when it came out, as I wasn't really paying attention to the release date.

This game is far more realistic than the "Moto GP" series of games.

Unlike the GT series, one does not need money. Bikes are unlocked by racing against the computer, while riding the bike that one is trying to unlock. The computer rider is given a head start, and you must pass him and stay in front for 10 seconds to unlock the bike. As one advances in the game, one may have to pass two or three computer riders to unlock the bike. For the eight fastest bikes in the game, one has to run a set time on a certain course to unlock the bike.

There are four licenses: Novice, Junior, Expert, and Super.

If anyone has any other questions about the game, please feel free to ask.

EDIT: Also, one may pick out the rider's gear. As one progress in the game, more gear is available. One may also adjust his riding position with many variables to adjust.

Yeah I don't follow video games at all anymore. I played it at the DC Motorcycle show and felt like the physics were pretty arcadey but maybe its worth another look. My Moto GP 4 demo felt pretty arcadey to me too.

What tracks are in this game?

The physics still do have an arcade feel to them, but it's the best offering yet, IMHO. I can upset the bike and high side in TT, whereas in Moto GP this never seems to happen.

All of the tracks from GT4 are in this game, except for the rally courses.

Cool. I didn't know this game came out already either. I'll have to rent it and see how it is.

Compared to say, MotoGP3 for the Xbox, how would you rate TT?

Reid is also in Japan, I'm pretty sure it's not released here yet. A few more months before the US release

Do you know why Moto GP 4 got delayed so long? I hope it was to make the handling more realistic, but I guess that's wishful thinking.
