not sure about the kit, but when i made my own, i went with all four gauge wire and i replaced the short battery to chassis ground and then i grounded at: the distributor, valve cover, intake manifold, alternator, tranny, block, and right near the header. just make sure to clean off your grounding spots good so theres good conductivity.
i got the same wires. i just connected them to the head bolts. thats how they recomend it. havent had any problem with it.
head bolts? which head bolts? you mean the four bolt that hold the valve cover down?

I think this guy has got it down pretty well... I'd connect it to points near important sensors and electrical devices that affect engine performance, aka the distributor, alternator, throttle position sensor, MAP sensor, spark plugs and wires, ignition coil, etc.

LOL, not to the electrical terminal on the alternator, to the alternator mounting bracket.

HAHA scary. I say hook it up to the alternator post and take a pic of what happens and post it on here. And to reiterate what this guy said the body of the alternator is not positive just the terminal where the stock positive wire is. That's why there is a piece of plastic under the terminal so the wire doesn't touch the body of the alternator and make fire and what not.

thread jack but anyways did yall use gold connectors? if so where did you get? and did you use regular electrical wire? reason i ask is b/c i work at home depot and we only have copper connectors and our #4 wire dosent contain as many strands as the wires used on ground kits sold by apexi sun buddy club hks etc...
