Default Turbo oil feed hookup.

N00b question: I got this turbo oil feed line with my FMAX kit. I'm not familar, but will I have to drill a tap in the oil pan for this? Someone told me that it is possible to t it off the stock oil pump. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Oh also, I have the H23 engine in case it matters.

looks like you take the oil pressure sending unit outta the back of the block, and screw that fitting in, and then screw the oil pressure sending unit into the other side of that fitting

you are going to have to drill and tap the oil pan for a oil return line.

but like championshipwhite93si said the goes where the sending unit is on the back of the h22 above the oil filter. and then the sending unit screws into that.

take off the stock oil sender ( grey rubber cap) below the oil filter. really close to the axle shaft

then screw that oil sender into the Tee you have pictured, then use the block adapter to screw into the T (usually a silver piece)
, then put the whole thing into the block

dont use the T directly on the block. i dont think its the correct thread and it will leak

You can use the oil port in the head right next to the vtec solenoid/pressure sensor. There will be a hex plug in it. Take out the plug, and put this line on.

Well, assuming I even had vtec, the fact that the fluctuating oil pressure off the selonoid doesn't play well with the seals on the turbo somewhat discourages me from doing it.

Sorry I forgot it is an h23. Just to clarify, that port does not fluctuate with vtec, and I believe it is in the same spot on an H23. It gets constant oil pressure.

Contact stan at fast turbo for the adapter.

I'll save you the heartbreak now. Don't use the brass tee right off of the back of the block. The brass work-hardens after many miles and will become very brittle, and will often break off and let the oil spray out the back while you're driving down the road.....

Is the sandwich adapter that same one you were referring to when you said I'd need one to match the tee to the block?

if you don't want to use the tee you can use something like this sandwhich plate that goes inbetween the oil filter and the block.

No, a sandwich adapter goes between the oil filter and the block. It has ports on it to allow you to run oil lines directly from there.

The adapter you need for the block will look like this:

Fast-Turbo sells a kit, it comes with the adapter, and 3ft of steel braided line so you can mount the t on the firewall. It also comes with new tees.
