Looks like I'll soon be buying a new Honda S2000. I drove an '06 last weekend and fell in love. I haven't driven an earlier one. So I'm trying to learn as much as I can about these cars as quickly as I can. I would appreciate any pointers to information on such things as engine specs & changes by year, information on any problem areas in the drivetrain (especially the clutch), any maintenance or reliability issues, and basic stuff like care of soft-top, info on hard-tops (which I prefer). Not interested in any mods at this time.

I would also like to know some of these things. As I am buying my first S2000 friday. Most likely an 02 or newer, but not brand new.

 

im sellin my 05 s2000, lol, but will be buyin a 2006 white one soon.
