I got an engine swap in my 95 civic hatch, to a B161a with headers, I want to know exactly at how many RPM the vtech kicks in its the engine year is 00. And how i find out whats wrong with my tachometer

its vtec..

 

you could start by telling whats wrong with your tach

 

i think its 5400, mines at 5,000 to gain a little bit of mid range trq.

correct. and to double what outlaw said, yes you could tell us what the hell your tach is doing

 

5700 rpm in my 00 Si

 

The tach dosnt move @ all

 

B161A vtech

 

My JDM B16a in my 2000 Civic Vtec doesn't kick in @ 6000rpm.
