Well after 3 years of ownership i finally sold my 00 ITR. I sold it to the dealership i work for In las Vegas. they had it for 2 days before some kid who traded in a riced out hyundai tiburon for it came in and bought it.. Well he didn't buy it, Turns out mommy and daddy bought it for him because he is unemployed and doesn't have any plans on working. I'm kinda upset that the car went to such a person. I had kteller 2.5" catback with magnalfow muffler which was painted flat black for sleeperness, After a day of ownership he took it to the exhaust shop and slapped on a Giant chrome can and had the kteller ripped out and replaced with crush bent exhaust shop piping, because he said the kteller piping was crap. I suppose i'm not sad that the car is gone because it was time to move on from the car but maybe i'm just sad that it went to such a person who doesn't really appreciate the car.. i guess i had it coming when i sold it to the dealership and no longer had control of who the vehicle goes to. Oh well. just thought i'd vent. If anybody is wondering i now drive a Z71 tahoe and a 04 civic ex.. i just couldn't afford all my toys while planning a wedding this year.. Oh well sorry to vent just thought id let it all out.. Time for a beer.

 

wow, who're you i didn't know there were any Black ITRs left in Vegas... and why'd you sell it to a dealership in the first place??

 

I'm steve i think i met you one time when i had my Tein S-techs installed at Acme2.. And i just didn't have the time to dedicate to Private sell the thing.

 

oh ok, i just didn't know that ITR was still here in Vegas that's all... it was kind of riced out when you brought it to Acme 2 though... meaning the red stickers and all on it, did you take those off?? didn't you have a Comptech exh. setup on it??

 

Oh the stickers i had for a week or two for pic purposes.. I took off all the comptech crap and went with a whole diff setup after visiting LdL speedshop and had him write a pretty vicious program for the mods i had. i ended up pretty much swapping out alot of the parts that originally came with the car when i bought it.

 

I love when people sell their R because they cant afford it because of 10 other things, yet they drive expensive SUVs and go buy TSuXs instead lol

i said i couldn't afford "all" my toys. so i got rid of the one i drove the least. Too friggin paranoid about her gettin stolen. but i suppose Stolen and stripped , the parts may have gone to better use then the kid who bought it is using it for.

naw... but what is the kid using it for??

 

He told the salesman he was gonna use it for "show" and judging by the choices in mods on his Tibby i'm pretty scared.. It just urks me to listen to him ride the clutch and grind second every time i hear him leave the lot.. Oh well. lol.

Should have sold the Tahoe and kept the R and Civic...

 

eh i needed to keep the tahoe need something with 4 wheel drive for the utah snow when i visit family most of the winter season, and the civic is the wifes car.

Not to be judgmental, but why would you go from an R to a Z71 and then criticize someone that plopped down a wad of money to drive the same car you did, from a dealership none-the-less?

Unfortunately, thats a **** reason. My turbo integra is fine here in the utah snow. Ive never had a problem once.

You did sell your car, so really, you shouldnt even give a damn about whats happening with it now. If you were that 'attached' then you shouldnt have let it go.

from how you described the seller, that R is gone, another statistic...i wish no harm on anyone, but judging from what he did with your exhaust and the personality you portrayed, i'd be surprised if that car lasts another year

well, i have an idea, first i have to find out who it is... and if it's a show car he wants maybe i can arange on getting him one with a JDM front end, and a little cash as trade or something. i have a good friend who has a "show integra: for sale... we'll see, the least i can do is try right

Im sure he didn't want to but, I could see a girl saying this "its our wedding don't you want to make it special, don't you think Im worth it, who is more important the car or me"

Sucks you had to sell the car. Im not married or that serious with anyone yet but screw selling a car for a 1 day party worth more than most peoples cars. You can have a nice wedding and not spend a fortune but that's just my opinion. I just don't understand why women insist of spending so much money on a wedding. Buy a house or invest that money. Make it work for you. Ooops now Im ranting. Sorry I hope you have other toys to keep you busy and give you the equal amount of enjoyment as the R did.

for one, i was talking about the guy who just bought his car, not him, dumb **** ... the kid who 1) will probobly get the R stolen or 2) destroy the ******* thing, ask blkitr (the guy who sold it) himself
for two, my car was never covered in anything, i have a JUN sticker on the hood of my car and two small ones under the OEM Type R decals on the sides of my car
for three, just to show you how you really don't know WTF you're talking about i WAS indeed basically sponsored every single one of JUN parts on my car as a good friend of mine Mike Angel and i used to prototype JUN parts for JUN USA when they were here, and paid for doing so, *******... have a clue as to WTF you're talking about before doing so
