I have had this problem since i swapped my b16a1 in my 91 crx, it runs fine, never any codes, but if i try to give it gas after like 4 grand it wont jump up the rpms and all i hear is a miss sound, but sounds like its from all cylinders, i think the car is in limp mode or soemthing cuz if i give it less than 1/4 of the trottle and take it up through the rpms it runs fine and vtec kickes in at 5750. if i do than and yank a gear or floor it, it just runs like ****.
i have a 190 walbro fp in it and run like 50 psi of gas to the motor, ALSO !!!!!!!! i have replaed the plugs, wires, cap, rotor, primary coil, fuel filter, fuel pump, o2 sensors ect!!!!!! cant figure out the problem any clues?

 

hows the timing, tps adjusted? actually screw the timing check the tps sensor. should be .5 at closed throtlle and 4.5 at wot. someone correct me if im wrong im not too sure bout those numbers. i dont remember which wires to check either. haha good luck
