gsr head wont budge. help.

Default gsr head wont budge. help.

yea so im out in the garage pulling the head off it right now and it wont budge. wondering if someone could help me with a mental list here. i got all 10 head bolts. the coolant hoses are off...solenoids are off/unplugged. im trying to pull it off with the gsr manifold on it by the way.... help me out am i forgetting something?

Before I was even on ht that bracket owned me, yea it took a pullin and many a rubber maletin until I found out bout that, my back still hurts

very true, but we obviously love them more cuz we contunially pour our time and money and blood into them

you have to have some sort of passion the keep working in a honda

yea thanks people i got it off. i wont be putting that bracket back on. yea yea honda put it there for a reason but i dont see the point.

or if you have a stock exhaust manifold there is a small bracket with a 12mm bolt that hold the manifold on. its on the middle drivers side of the block.

true, they would waste millions on getting them made for all their cars if it didnt do something, but it is a major pain

congrats for getting it off, how come youre pulling your head off?

why am i pulling my head off? well ill make a new post for that but im doing a rebuild as we speak. coffee break right now. putting in jdm itr pistons. taking the head tommorow for valve job and i think im gogin to have him take about .010 off it. new bearings, rings. it should be happy.

that bracket is there to keep the i/m from cracking,but ive never seen one crack without the bracket so i never put mine back on lol

how would the manifold crack without the bracket? i dont see how it could lol
