Newb Question: Are there fabrications necessary on Accord CD6 rear brakes upgrade?
I recently acquired a 97 Accord SE. One of the first things that i've found is that the brakes are horribly inadequate. The rear drums are ready to be replaced, so i figured i'd look into the possibility of upgrading to discs. I know it's possible, but i don't know what donor cars i should be looking into an what fabrications (if any) are necessary. I know i need to swap over the proportioning valve, but besides that i'm in the dark. If anyone has a link that would help me or a few tips, i'd be most appreciative.
On a side note i was considering installing ABS. are there any computer modifications that would be necessary? My understanding of cars is limited to German cars, and i would think that there's probably some sort of a redundant sensor that might malfunction if there isn't the right communication between the car and the ABS brain. I realize that this isn't the most practical upgrade, but i do a lot of long distance driving and would appreciate a little more security.

the rear trailing arm/knuckle assy. will work from any accord 90-97. no fabing necessary, it all bolts up. adding abs to a non abs car? i dont know if its ever been done, i would say your better off just getting a new car with abs...
