my opinion, you should just leave it like that i/h/e.
if you want power, just go supercharger.. very good acceleration, and its very reliable. its very easy to intall and can be ran with your stock ecu.

I've wondered that too. I have a Y8 MT in my 98 coupe. What about a cam and an SC? People always holler turbo, but I like the idea of the SC.

Just be careful, because price can jump fast on ya. Some cams require new valve springs and retainers.......hey at least u can save some money on cams, cuz ya only need 1. I love my single slammer.

Mann..

Supercharger sound so.... GM..

I dunno anything about cams tho. But I guess a supercharger isn't a bad investment since it's more or less a simple bolt-on. like the things you have now..

my turbo was bolt on too . But the zex 105300 doesnt require springs/retainers and it is pretty much tuned at 0* of cam timing so an adjustable cam gear isnt needed either. I have the 59300 and love it (the d16z6 equivalent), worked well NA and even better with boost

It sounds like ZEX has inexpensive cams for good hp returns. I looked at the stage 2 cam, and wasn't sure if you need springs and retainers or not. I'd like to check one out, and then hit up a Jackson racing SC. I think they just dropped the prices on them too. Probably from all the turbonetics and Edelbrock turbo kits coming out. I like the idea that it is pretty much a bolt on, and that they have very broad power bands.I use the low end more often driving around town anyways. Thanks for the advice, sorry for jacking the thread.

i dont want to boost i dont have money for that. ive already looked at the dif. cams i just dont really know which one would be the best for my car, our if a cam is really what i need. i just want a good hp increase but not to lose too much torque. how much would it cost to get installed at a shop do you think? thanks
