EGT/Engine Question
I was wondering if anyone knew by chance what the hottest running cylinder on the h22 motor is, or which runner of the header when standing looking at it, it is. I was looking to install an egt guage for referance. Maybe any suggestions, particular advice from people who have done it already? thanks for the help !
probably the one farthest from the intake (I think #4) will run the hottest because it'll be the most lean. The cylinder on the end of the intake runner usually ends up with a bit more air from the intake charge.

yeah, good call. my bad. I keep visualizing my 4G63...
but I'm pretty sure what I said earlier holds true: the cylinder farthest from the intake runs the hottest because it gets the most air.

intresting - i woulda though the first "closest" to the intake would get the biggest air charge, but i do rem vaguely seeing a egt tappd on 3 i think <third from the right when looking at from outside> good info - anybody got some more - thanks !
