hey i need some real help .. i was working on my 1987 honda accord lxi last night and pulled the vaccum hose rummong rom the manifolt to what i think is a vaccum reserve canister . im not sure what it is , but i know it let air out of it . when i tarted the car up it sounded bad , real bad , it was shaking and when i would rev it it didnt sound good at all. i started it up a couple more time , let it run and slowly gave it some gas , slowly reving it. the more i did it the better it sounded . i turned it off and started it up . it sounds better , but im afrais to take it on the road and see what happens. and i in deep SH*T?

 

did you reconnect the vacuum line or at least plug it??

 

ya i did , but i worryed that the brakes wont work becuase the hose from it is commected to the brakes

 

that's a vacuum reservoir. when you start the car just pump the brakes a couple of times and it will refill itself. no worries about removing that vacuum line you didn't break anything.

 

really? thanks man . also there is some knocking when i rev . it it knocks like a vavle is bent or somehting. my car needs to go to the shop badly to fix some problems , but the only place my parents are gonna take it ( cause they said they would pay if it wasent my fault) is the honda dalership . will they still work on it since ive moddded it? thanks for the tip
