Roll cage time
Very nice. Is that you building the cage, or an experienced builder. I've been thinking about doing this possibly in the future, but it looks like a huge pain in the ***.
I kinda am an experience builder. I bend all pipes in house, have MIG and TIG, drill presses exclusively for notching pipe, ect, ect.
Oh, and its done.
Heres a little better view

its a fine ITA cage.
just a minor comment, i dont think the extra bend in the front brace just before the main hoop really conforms to the GCR. its not specific in the IT ruleset, but it is in the Showroom Stock rules which is default for IT mentions it should be horizontal. it doesnt seem necessary anyway.
what was in the car before if this is a new cage? why does it already have ITA decals?

Jay, your work always amazes me. I can't wait to have you finish the rest of my cage
What you did with that CRX is pretty much what I had in mind for mine, except I have to figure out a way to keep the driver's door window functional with the NASCAR bars . . .

I don't have a truck and/or trailer
It's got to be street legal so I can drive it to the track.

Its the point of view thats making the A pillar bar seem excesively bent. As the main hoop runs down the B post, it runs away from the center of the car. These cars are cramped enough. I thought he would like a little more head room. Pipe in the head will kill you fast. I appriciate construtive criticism. Thank you.
Thanks to others for compliments.

I believe he was referring to this:
where the guys left hand is.
For IT, per the rules, there are only 2 bends allowed in the downbar if the material is the minimum spec'd (1.5x.095). If you used the next size spec'd (.120 or 1.75x.095) then you'd be alright.
Also, the new '07 rules require 2 bars per side. Unfortunately, it looks like the traditional 3 bar X's don't quite meet the letter of the rule. Bad for racers budgets, but good for us fabricators I guess
