Default Can anyone help me identify this head?

I happen to just purchase this head today. After looking at it closer, I am pretty confused on which generation head it is. The head is mint, the cams look like they barely have any wear on them.

Link to pics of the head.

First thing I noticed is the cam plates seem to be cast, my 2000 Civic si head and the head I have downstairs has cam plates that seemed to be machined. I also took the cams out and they appear to be

The VTEC Solenoid though doesn't look to be pre OBD0, but newer. I also have never seen a 1st gen b16 with PR-3-3 casting on it. Usually I see it on 1996-up. Any input from you guys would be great.

I just would like to know what I purchased. I don't really care if they sold it to me and put some old b16 cams in it. But it's weird, cause the cams show barely any signs of usage. This head is actually going to RLZ Engineering so Brad can work his magic on it. But I still would like some input before I send it off to him.

I just talked to Brad, he told me it's a 1991 head. I knew there was a way to identify it. I keep reading there are no date marks, but even Joe Alaniz was able to tell me what year head my Civic Si head was.

I"m a lil irritated now LOL.

the cast girdles are a dead giveaway of an obd0 head.

Sucky deals because the guy promo'd it as a 2000 si head. Hopefully you didn't pay too much for it!

After Brad works his magic on the head you will forget all about what you paid for it. You will have a $2000 head in your hands
