Part number and price please. I went to the local Acura and Honda dealers and they all just use silicone instead of hondabond. Silicone is great for sealing tub surrounds but who knows what ill effects it has on the gaskets. If the price isn't too much, I'd rather use hondabond.
PS - they gave me a puzzled look when I asked for it at the parts counter.
Thanks.

look under "honda fluids etc" and you'll see gasket cement (honda bond) for $13/tube. a&h is excellent and very quick.

(what's this clear chit around my valve cover gasket?? LOL)
I just picked some up from my local Honda dealer. Full dealer retail was only like $12. I just asked for Hondabond, and the guys came back with some. Try a different dealer.

Yup... they usually range from 10 to 12 bucks depending on whut dealership u go to. That dealership who did not use Hondabond and had a puzzled look on their face when u asked shouldn't even be considered a Honda dealership.
