Default 1 gallon fuel cell question?

Is it to little when doing the lane?? Was told it would bring swirls in the cell because the return line.

Is it better to have a bigger cell, like 3 gallon?

The car is N/A for the moment and I only doing the 1/4 so I don’t need some reserve or something.

What setup are you running?

Thanx

Although we run a VW, the fuel consumption might be a decent comparison. We ran a 2.0 8v with a little IHI turbo and a shot of nitrous (11.58 @ 123). We were able to get three passes and idling in staging per tank.

We're going to a 16v head, bigger turbo and more fuel so I expect to kick it back to maybe two passes and idling. I'll know for sure come March. I don't know, maybe it won't change much.

If we had more space in the engine bay, I'd probably go to a little bigger cell, but for now the 1 gallon keeps us light and it's not too hard to fill up between passes.
