Cant Remove The Woodruff Key On The Crank??

Cant Remove The Woodruff Key On The Crank??
For the love of god i cant get the key out. Any of you guys have any suggestions? Ive tried yanking on it with some pliers but its messing the key up. Please Help!

I've gotten them to break loose by using a screw driver and hammer and tapping on the end. If you can get it to move in any direction, it will be easier to work out with pliers. Also, if you can grab it with pliers, or vise grips, and work it back and forth, kind-of like walking it out, rather then pulling. Good luck!

how the hell do i break it...lol...ive already sawed notches in it so i could try and pry it will a flat head...it still isnt budging.
