00 interior conversion

Default 00 interior conversion

if i would get the a/c and radio console of a 00' ek would it plug and play into a 96 ek hb or would i have to do some custom wiring?

you need the 99-00 Heatercore and blower, and the sub harness.

You need the 99-00 dash harnness.You don't need the heater core or blower.you just need the climate controls and dash harnness.I would suggest getting the 99-00 dash because the heater vents are centered on the 96-8 heater control and to the one side on the 99-00.Or get the air ducts from a 99-00.You have to remove the dash to swap the harnness.you will notice there is a blue plug that comes from the firewall harnness(on the passenger side) .Just remove your old harnness, plug the 99-00 harnness there and into the fuse box,etc,etc...I have done the conversion a couple times now.Let me know if you need anymore info..

To add to my last post,if you are planning to add a/c,you need the evaporator core and the box.If you all ready have a/c you will be fine.

I did it, it's not all that hard. Just be patient follow directions on the link that was given to you earlier. It's pretty much all plug n play except for the rear defroster. You can use this link too:
