Default Review: JDm Y0 Ebay Radiator

i finally got around to getting the radiator in..

1st off i dont have pics. i seem to have misplace my camera

price: 130 or so shipped on ebay

first impressions, it comes packed in a bunch of foam to protect the really thin fins etc. the piece is real nice, around 2" thick, i would say about 1/2 inch thicker than stock.. etc comes with radiator cap, has holes for mounting the fans. etc what could go wrong.. right?

ok. the bad stuff

the holes to mount the fans are way off. there is just no way to mount the fans decent with the holes in that position.. i guess i'm gonna have to go with universal fans

the legs of the radiator are too close together. so if you get one side in the lower mount, the other one wont go in

the top mounts are off too..

the lower radiator hose inlet is off toward the drivers side, so it doesnt line up with the little cutout in the crossmember to clear the radiator hose. (it will still hook up though. but its annoying

overall, i wouldnt want anyone to order this

hopefully they just sent me the wrong one.. but i doubt it

(ps i'm emailing the seller)

What chassis do you have? BA8, BB1, or BB2? If you have an Si or VTEC model, that is the problem right there. That's why it doesn't fit. BA8 (Prelude S's) and Accords have different radiators compared to the Si and VTEC models.

I almost bought one of these as Im getting ready for another hot summer. Hopefully the koyo OEM replacement radiator will fit a lot better. Thanks for letting us know though, I was curious about it.
