Do I need...for type R swap?
Do I need the ECU from a type R to do a swap into my 97 GSR? Or can my computer run the motor? Also does anyone know if I need the wire harness as well? thanks for any hlelp

You will either want the typeR ECU or you will want to run a socketed OBD1 ecu (PM me if you want one, I have some) with an OBD2 to OBD1 conversion harness.
Many people go the later route because they can be tuned
