Radiator fan necessary?
I installed my fluidyne a while back and cut some of the stock fan casing off, but it still touches the heat shield on my header. Can I just run no fans until I purchase some slim fans?
are you talking about the a/c fan? i have a dual core koyo and i took that off. there was no way it was going to fit. plus the other fan never seems to turn on anymore. my car hasn't overheated yet.
you don't necessarly need a fan, especially in the cool bay area this time of the year. The only time you may be in trouble is sitting at a stop light or if it's hot outside.

Right now I am just breaking in the engine and clutch with city driving. I have no a/c fan for now was also putting that off until I got the slim fans. I guess I will wait until I get some fans and live with the sound for now
. Thanks guys!

I drove around for over 6 months without a fan with my H22. Like I said, the cool weather we have here makes a big difference.

when stopped yes it is necessary. I have a single core civic rad and it runs cooler than my OEM on the highway and while driving w/o a fan. w/o a fan it would run up to H in about 5 mintues idle.
Now i got a fan no problems.
