Question for Toronto/GTA people
Do any of you guys know a place that offers corner weighting in and around the GTA? I've looked and asked around, but no one knows of a place. There has to be a place around here that has scales...
I got mine done last year at SCC racing. Good shop, good guys!

**EDIT** Duh, I just re-read Baby NSX's post and realized he too was pointing you to CSC Racing...anyway, you can do it yourself at CSC to save some money, see my original post below
CSC Racing in Newmarket has corner weighting scales. You can rent them for about $20/hour if you go in at night, but you have to do the work yourself. There's an article on how to do it yourself on the HADA Motorsport Club website in the 'Tech Corner', second article down from the top. Check it out at http://www.hadamotorsport.com
If you don't want to do the corner weighting yourself then Mantis Racing in Oakville will do it for you, though I'd expect to pay at least $200.

What is the purpose of corner wheighting??
Because you can adjust the right height at each corner you can also adjust the static loading on each corner "independently".
For example: say you find that the scales tell you that the right front corner is taking to much load, you can simply lower that corner a tad and distribute that load to the other corners.
The benefit of this exercise is that you will be able to extract the most out of your tires and the load transfers during cornering, breaking, and accelerating will be more consistent left to right and back to front.
I Hope that shed some light.
I know there's a place out on Winston Churchill...I cant think of the name right now, but they also have a dyno....if it comes to be I will get back to this...but just another question...who's the CW R with the blue graphics up the side....I saw him the other day at dixie and dundas tims...just curious..or is it really an R...it may just be a sticker as he's already got more than enough on his car already
Is the driver's weight ever taken into consideration- especially that he's sitting off center to the left? Ever corner weigh with the driver inside?
